No Data Collection (Games & Utilities)
Single-player games and utilities on this site run entirely in your browser. No files are uploaded to any server for these. Your data stays on your device. The exception is the multiplayer features noted below.
Multiplayer game sessions
A handful of games (currently Sudoku and Chess) support an online multiplayer mode where one player shares a link to invite another. While a session is active, the server stores the session ID, a randomly-generated player ID for each participant, the display name you enter, and the game state (board position, moves, and any in-progress puzzle). No email address, IP-derived identity, or account is required. Session files are automatically deleted 24 hours after the last activity.
Demos that upload files for processing
The following demos accept a file upload, process it on a back-end server, and return a result. The uploaded file and any generated outputs are stored temporarily and automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing completion:
Some demos let you choose which back-end machine processes the file (a Windows box or the web server itself); either way the same retention applies — and demos that respond synchronously delete the uploaded file the moment the response is sent.
- Foxit OCR — PDF/image OCR via the Foxit LLM engine
- Foxit OCR (C++) — PDF/image OCR via the classic Foxit C++ engine
- Tesseract OCR — PDF/image OCR via Tesseract
- OCR Compare — uploads a single file to all three OCR engines in parallel
- Foxit Auto-Tag — adds an accessibility structure tree to a PDF
- PDF Flatten — bakes signatures, annotations, and form widgets into the page content
- XFA Flatten — converts an XFA (dynamic/static LiveCycle) form into a plain, static PDF with no XFA or AcroForm layer
- XFA to AcroForm — converts a static XFA (LiveCycle) form into a plain, fillable AcroForm PDF by stripping the XFA layer
- PDF Rasterize — renders pages to images and rebuilds the PDF, with optional MRC compression
- PDF Optimization — audits a PDF's space usage and applies MRC or general optimization via the Foxit Optimization Add-On (files processed on the Linux backend are deleted immediately when the request completes)
- PDF Remove Security — strips passwords and permission restrictions from a PDF (any password you provide is used to open the PDF and then discarded with the rest of the session)
- TIFF to PDF — converts a (possibly multi-page) TIFF to PDF, with optional MRC compression
- Foxit Conversion — converts an uploaded Word document (.docx/.doc) to PDF via the Foxit Conversion SDK, Microsoft Word, or LibreOffice
Uploaded files are not read by a human, indexed, OCR'd for analytics, or used for any purpose other than producing the result you see in the demo. Outputs are streamed back to your browser and the server-side copies are deleted on the schedule above.
FileShare
Files uploaded to FileShare are stored temporarily on the server so you can share a link to them. They are automatically deleted within 24 hours of link expiration.
Meeting Planner
The Meeting Planner tool stores meeting data—including names, email addresses, and availability—on the server. This data is automatically deleted 24 hours after the last meeting date. If the organizer schedules a time, the email addresses provided by respondents are used to send them a calendar invitation (and, if the organizer opts in, to notify the organizer of new responses); addresses are never shown to other participants.
No Advertising or Tracking
There is no advertising, analytics tracking, or revenue generation of any kind associated with this site. No third-party scripts are loaded to monitor your behavior.
No Data Sharing
User data is never shared with any third party, for any reason.
Cookies & Local Storage
This site uses browser localStorage to remember your preferences, such as theme settings and game progress. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server. The site does not use tracking cookies.
